No. All generated data is fake. Orders are created with a "test" payment status and no real payment processing occurs. No money moves, no real customers are contacted.
Yes. The plugin includes a cleanup utility that removes all records it generated, identified by an internal meta flag. You can clean up a full data set in one click.
We strongly recommend using it only on development or staging environments. While the data is fake and no payments are processed, generating hundreds of orders adds records to your live database which can affect reporting.
EasyCommerce 1.5 or higher. The plugin is tested against each new EasyCommerce release. The free EasyCommerce plugin from WordPress.org is sufficient — no EasyCommerce Pro required.
