## What is it?

Warranty Cart lets your shop sell extended warranties, protection plans and service contracts on the product page, where the customer is already deciding. After the sale it keeps everything in order: customers can see and claim on their cover, renew it, and get reminded before it ends.

There is no separate system to connect and no monthly fee. Warranties are created when an order completes, so it works with any way of paying, including card, PayPal, bank transfer and cash on delivery.

## How it works

3. **Manage claims and renewals**: Customers file claims and renew from their account. You review claims in one place and get paid for renewals.

## Questions

**Do I need a special payment gateway?**
No. Warranties are issued when an order completes, which works whatever took the payment.

**Can customers file a claim?**
Yes. They see their cover under My Account → Warranties and can file a claim against anything still active. Guests can use a claim page with their order number and email.

**Can I price a warranty as a percentage of the product?**
Yes, with an optional minimum and maximum so a very cheap or very expensive item stays sensible.

**Can I include a warranty for free?**
Yes. A plan can be included free with chosen products, without asking anyone to buy it.

**Can I import my plans from a spreadsheet?**
Yes. Plans can be imported from a CSV file, and warranties, claims and reports can be exported.
