## What is it?

Author Profile Blocks helps you introduce the people behind your site. Add a single author card, a grid of your team, a list, or a carousel, all from the block editor and all in a refined design that fits most themes.

Show WordPress users, or keep a separate team list for people who do not have a login, with photo, position, bio and social links.

## How it works

1. **Add the details**: Fill in each author’s position and links on their profile, or add people under Team Members.
2. **Insert a block**: In the editor, add an Author Profile, Grid, List or Carousel block.
3. **Choose a style**: Pick a look, choose who to show and adjust the design.

**Do I have to use WordPress users?**
No. You can show users, a separate team list, or both.

**Can I show only some people?**
Yes. Filter by role, or by department for team members.

**Does it work with block themes?**
Yes. It works in both classic and full-site-editing themes.

**Will it slow my site?**
No. Each block saves its output so repeat visits load quickly.
